Meetings are usually on the 1st Friday of September through April. The evenings last from 19:30 to 22:00 at the latest. Lectures are also held in the evenings. Read the newsletter for the speakers.

Interesting lectures are regularly given by guest speakers or members. Check out the current program.

Discuss your finds with others. Ask for advice on, for example, identification.

We organize excursions for members. These can be one-day or multi-day excursions at home and abroad. The program can be found below.​

The WFW has its own library, with  many books, all to borrow. We also give tips about good books.

Together with the paleobiological circle and fossiel.net, the WFW organizes the international fossil fair. Look  on paleotime.nl

Every year we choose the most beautiful fossil that was found or prepared that year. This will also be presented on this site.

Through the website you get references (links) to other fossil websites. This helps in determining, preparing and searching.
